Film as an art medium can uplift voices and bring together communities that would not otherwise cross paths. Creating that intersection is what we do. Every year at Jacksonville Film Festival you can expect to view films, speak to and hear from filmmakers, learn about film creation - through workshops and panels - and network with other film enthusiasts from around the world. Through prioritizing cultural exchange we foster conversations between filmmakers and their audiences. Successful production of the Jacksonville Film Festival is possible through sponsorships, community partnerships, filmmakers, volunteers, and our board.
The Jacksonville Film Festival is a part of the ever-growing art and culture community in Jacksonville, Florida. An international film festival that is created out of a desire to make Jacksonville a destination for future film conversations and production. Although Jacksonville has a rich history of film opportunities, it has not been cultivated. Enter the Jacksonville Film Festival as a place to catapult what was once a historical footnote into an irreplaceable part of our city’s story and identity.
